Female hair loss typically comes from two types, namely temporary hair loss and permanent hair loss. The temporary hair loss typically follows dramatic events like pregnancy and childbirth, or illness. This is the easier of the two conditions to treat because all it takes is time to heal. Making sure you get a healthy diet, and massaging the scalp in an effort to increase blood circulation is typically all you need to treat the situation with temporary hair loss. Excessive hair loss should be diagnosed and treated by a trained and experienced physician.

Permanent female hair loss is another story altogether.

Another type is called Triangular alopecia. This alopecia affects the temporal areas. With a situation like this hair is fully lost or sometimes a few strands will remain. Typically surgery or surgical methods are involved to repair.

Scarring Alopecia is caused by scarring of the scalp on the top portion of the scalp and found mostly in women. The biggest cause for something like this has to do with getting weaves. What happens is the weave poles on the hair and pulled on the scalp. The constant pulling causes scarring and when the scalp is damaged the follicles become inflamed and the hair falls out.
